WEEK 12 - Montebello 4, Las Vegas, Nevada

 THIS WEEKKK was good! Had lots of fun times and also hard times but it is what it is.

DONE WITH MY 1ST TRANSFERRRR WHAATTTTT sooo crazy!! I am staying here in my area but Sister Chapa is leaving me (NOOOO) so I'll be leading! Ahhh crazy I'm scared but hopefully It'll be good 

☆HIGHLIGHTS☆

• Been on that biking grind

• Had a YUMMM member meal

• Got boba last P-day YUM

• Stake Easter party!!! Lots of fun performamces- dances, singing, etc. Shoutout Joe in the shadow performance!! I tried to add a video but it didn't work :(

We got to see all the Primary kids sing Gethsemane after practicing with them for the past few weeks  (Lowlight: having to dress up as a shephardso sillyyy)

☆LOWLIGHTS☆

• Olive Garden got cancelled AGAIN  (BUT it's because Joe had to rehearse for the shadow performance at the easter party and it was SO GOOD so it's ok I forgive him)

• Starting to see lots of dead pigeons on the roads including very fresh baby birds

• Sister Chapa's bike tire exploded so catch us walking again  my feet are not happy

• I've been having a hard time feeling homesick and discouraged lately BOOOO  it's fine I'm chillin don't worry about me 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

♡ I know Jesus died and was resurrected so we can all live again. He did it for YOU specifically ♡

WEEK 11 - Montebello 4, Las Vegas, Nevada

 This week was SO FUUNNN️

★HIGHLIGHTS★

• Our friend L is doing SO good! She LOVES The Book of Mormon and reads so much everyday and she wants to be baptized!! 

• Biking is SOO fun  even if it's a million degrees but we have a partyyy also getting good at no hands  (don't worry mom not on busy roads)

• Farewell party for Sister Vaitai

• Made some cutie bracelets shoutout comp Hermana Chapa!!

• GETTING TANNNNN tan lines go crazy tho

• A member brought us some YUMMM burritos, oranges, yogurt and thin mints for dinner 

★LOWLIGHTS★

• We had to postpone Olive Garden AGAIN please pray we will get to go before transfers  (hopefully thursday )

• The devil REALLY does NOT want us to bike apparently because guess whattttt?? I got ANOTHER flat!  shoutout to the elder that keeps fixing my bike

• IT'S FREAKING HOT I'm drenched in sweat and it's only March

• A guy stopped us on the sidewalk and seemed super interested about the church and we were talking for a while until he said he only stopped us because he thought I was cutelive laugh love

• We had 4 confirmations for church- how many showed up you ask? Big fat 0 once again

• Lowk might be getting heat rash? I guess it's time to buy some sunscreen

• Pan of brownies doesn't last more than a day or two  we grubbin too much

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

2 Nephi 26:13

"And that he manifesteth himself unto all those who believe in him, by the power of the Holy Ghost; yea, unto every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, working mighty miracles, signs, and wonders, among the children of men according to their faith."

• I know miracles are ALL around us if we look for them and we WILL see how God is blessing our lives if we LOOK and have FAITH that he is there!
