Montebello 4 got a friend to church‼️🤯🤩🙌 (not clickbait) - Las Vegas, Nevada

 HELLO FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!! 

This week was so horrible but so fun at the same time wanted to give up so bad but also had the time of my life wow

☆HIGHLIGHTS☆

• Our cute friend Rosio came to church! She had a great experience! Yayy my first friend at church! (More about her below)

• The 2 cute cats at one of our friends apartments finally gained my trust 

• We decided to knock a members door and she asked if we wanted to come back for dinner!

• IT RAINED  the weather has been splendid

• Made homemade McDonald's breakfast sandwiches yummm 

☆LOWLIGHTS☆

• Sister Herring made me laugh so hard while I was mid drinking orange juice I threw up 

• Biking against 30mph wind no es divertido  my legs are sore

• Got another flat tire

• We have no progressing friends rn (except rosio) and our days feel very slow unproductive and it's hard

• Crashed on my bike lol (sister Herring's bike)

• Found out Bruno Mars came to Vegas and I couldn't see him?

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

Ok back to our friend Rosio! She has another church but we invited her to come to ours and she did! It was a miracle ️ she had such a great time, loved sacrament meeting and stayed for relief society as well, and it brought her to tears! She told us how she doesn't feel very welcome in her church but she felt SO welcomed and loved in our church.

I do not know a lot but I do know that this church brings joy and happiness to people and I am so thankful I can be a part of it and help bring people this joy!

WEEK 13 - Montebello 4, Las Vegas, Nevada

 Wow this was the longest week of my life but somehow its pday already?

☆HIGHLIGHTS☆

• Transfers!!! Sad that Hermana Chapa left 

BUT my new comp is SO awesome I love her so much! Her name is Hermana Herring. We are kind of the same person, we keep finding things that we have in common it's crazy! She's sooo sweet and fun and cool and I have been laughing all week

• Got to see Hermana Steele my MTC comp! AND Hermana Jardine and Partridge, the other Hermanas from my MTC district!! 

• After transfers we went to Dominos of course

• EASTER!!! 

• General conference was soooo good! We got to stay home and watch in our pj's :) some of the talks felt VERY targeted at me it was crazy 

• Got to talk to fam 3 days in a row! Easter, mom's bday, and pday today!  

• Hit 3 months YAYAYYAYAY 

• Best believe we got the Huntrix and Saja boys meals at McDonalds️

• Saw a cool rocket in the sky 

☆LOWLIGHTS☆

• lmk why we don't have ANY progressing friends  it's ok God has some people planned for us we just gotta find them lol

• We met a super cool guy named Luis who was super interested but then said he lives in Indiana  it's ok we sent him to the missionaries over there!

• Had a few more cries but we chillin 

• The wind is HORRIBLE! lmk why it is SOOO much harder to bike in the wind wowww

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

Sorry kind of long but these are some of my favorite things I got from this conference! 

☆ We are sinners yet Christ DIED for us! Love Him and others as He does!

☆ He will NEVER tire of helping us when we lose our way spiritually. His arms are always outstretched for us

☆ You do NOT need to be perfect, just do your best and the lord will make up the rest

☆ God sent us here and we are all His precious childen. We all need help along the way but he has not left us alone!

☆ He hears, sees, and knows YOU

☆ Testimony is built over time, through growth, from best and worst days

☆ Christ is a PERFECT and PERSONAL guide! He knows you based off your personal strengths, weaknesses, and experiences

☆ Not one of us can change the world, but each one of us can make an influence in the world :)
