WEEK 10! - Montebello 4, Las Vegas, Nevada

 HELLOOOO EVERYONEEE

Today was a wild week! It was so good I've been laughing nonstop. Lets just get right into ittttt

☆HIGHLIGHTS☆

• TEMPLEEEE for Joe's first time! Yayyyy! So happy for him! We did baptisms and it was so fun!

• On our walk home one day we decided to stop at Jack in the Box for fries and a shake and this guy jump scares me soo bad hes standing right behind me and says "hey elders, i mean hey sisters"  and we were like uhh hi! And he says "order whatever you want it's on me" so that was awesome 

• We asked one of our friends to say the closing prayer and he didn't know how, so we taught him how and he said his first prayer and he started crying and was so grateful it was soo cool

• SUNSETTT 

• Saw Hermana Jardine at night church!!!!!!! (From MTC) SOOOO much fun to see her! I miss my MTC district shoutout 10F

• Sang Gethsemane in primary again :)

• We were about to drop our friend Jorge because we couldn't get in much contact with him and his brother said he got kicked out?? But then we saw him on the sidewalk and he told us he has been reading the Book of Mormon and wants to read thee whole thing! So cool!

• Got my new BIKEEEE shoutout mom and dad for driving it down! Catch me and Hermana Chapa on our bikes all day everyday  (stay tuned for the Lowlights to find out why I needed my bike so bad)

• We got to go to the temple AGAIN with our district today for p-day! Then we went to Cane's after of course

☆LOWLIGHTS☆

• I've been using a loaner bike but the tube popped so we walked the rest of the night, got it fixed, then it exploded AGAIN the next morning!! SOOO we have been on foot for like 3 days and my feet are tiredddd and it's been HOT!

• An old guy told us we were beautiful and tried to find out where we live live laugh love

• None of our friends came to church :( 2 of them said they were going to come like 20 mins before and then didn't show up lollll that's ok there's always next week!!

• Joe got food poisoning so we couldn't go to Olive Garden (hopefully we'll go this week)

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

I read 2 Nephi 31 while waiting for baptisms in the temple today and there were SO many good things in this chapter! One verse I loved is verse 20.

"Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."

Short and simple but I know that we can be saved in the kingdom of God if we continue to trust and love him!!!
