Week 8: ER and ET - Montebello 4, Las Vegas, Nevada

This was one wild week let me tell you!

Story time!

Wednesday:

Around 2am: I woke up with the double headed dragon if you know what I mean... (i think I got food poisoning) then I had BADDD chest pain and I actually could NOT breathe so my sweet companions took me to the ER. They did tests and all that good stuff but I was fine, I just got soooooo dehydrated from throwing up so much so they gave me 2 IV bags and doc told me to go home and sip gatorade for a few days basically. I stayed with Hermana Perez because she can't go out either because of her knee which is a whole other long story, but we stayed in together that night

Thursday:

Stayed home again with Hermana Perez and Hermana Chapa

Friday:

I went out and knocked in the morning but then felt sick after lunch so I stayed in with Hermana Perez again and her companion Hermana Chapa :) the doc told Hermana Perez to go to the ER for her knee to get tested soo we went to the ER! 2 days in a row, wow so fun! Stayed in the rest of the night with Hermana Perez and Hermana Chapa. Hermana Perez needs to go home to rest her leg for 6 weeks! And she's leaving the next day! President called to let Hermana Chapa know who her new companion is. Can you guess who? ME! He said pack your bags!

Saturday:

Moved to my new apartment! Hermana Perez left  This is my new companion Hermana Chapa! 

Sunday:

It was my first fast sunday here! It was hard I was so hungry but it was good. Some guy at church had bags and bags of bread for some reason and told us to take some so of course we did

We were asked to help lead the primary in singing Gethsemane so we sang with them lol

Went out and knocked some more on Monday! 

Today we went to 5 below so that was so much fun and now I am headed to English Classes!

 Spiritual thought

I'm not going to lie this week was so hard and I have cried so much lolll but I do know that God is there. I know He can hear every one of our prayers and he answers each one whether it seems like it in the moment or not. I also know he places people in our lives to help us through this journey on Earth. He is there and He loves each one of us so so much!
